B-Wave / Flex Driver - Courier Driver

Location: Maidstone

Hourly Rate: £14.73 per hour
Shift Premium: Extra £2.80 per hour after 7.00pm
Saturday Premium: Extra £1.22 per hour
Sunday Premium: Extra £2.27 per hour

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 08:45am to18:15pm or 11:00am to18:00pm
30 minutes unpaid break

About:

GR Employment Ltd is recruiting for a B-Wave / Flex Driver on behalf of one of our customers in Maidstone, Panattoni Park area.

We are seeking flexible and motivated individuals who can adapt to varying routes and workloads while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

As a B-Wave / Flex Driver, you will support the operation by covering different delivery routes and assisting during peak periods. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their day and can quickly adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Complete deliveries and collections across various routes
• Excellent planning and organisational skills to effectively prioritise tasks and meet customer expectations
• Flexibility to cover alternative routes to support business needs
• Scanning shipments and working quickly and efficiently to ensure warehouse deadlines are met
• Making sound decisions and performing effectively under pressure

Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• Experience in a multi-drop courier role is preferred but not required
• Security Training will be given when required
• For insurance purposes, you must be at least 21 years old and have no more than 9 penalty points on your driving licence within the last 3 years

Security checks:

As this role is based within a major UK airport, all applicants will be required to complete pre-employment screening in accordance with aviation security regulations.

This process will include:

• Applicants will need to provide a 5-year history check or equivalent documentation to meet regulatory/security requirements
• A UK criminal record check
