Senior Paraplanner
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join a growing financial planning firm.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and previous paraplanning experience who enjoys mentoring others and delivering high-quality client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Writing suitability reports and financial planning documentation
- Conducting technical research and preparing recommendations
- Reviewing team output to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Supporting and mentoring Junior Paraplanners
- Assisting with onboarding and team training
- Managing workflows and ensuring deadlines are met
- Obtaining provider information, valuations and illustrations
- Completing tax calculations where required
- Maintaining high standards of client service and compliance
Skills & Experience Required
- CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential)
- Working towards or achieved Chartered status (desirable)
- Previous paraplanning experience
- Experience mentoring or supporting team members preferred
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritise workloads
