Financial Adviser (Sjp)

Our client is looking to welcome a Financial Adviser into their team in Brighton, to advise clients as appropriate to their circumstances and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospecting and contacting potential clients in accordance with the firm's business plan.
• Ensuring sufficient client information is obtained before any recommendation is made, and that portfolios are managed in line with the client's mandate and objectives.
• Undertaking appropriate product and market research and making sure suitable recommendations are made at all times.
• Ensuring all clients are contacted in accordance with the agreed level of service and receive relevant documentation in a timely way.
• Dealing with client queries in an efficient and timely manner.
• Ensuring clients are treated fairly, in line with TCF principles, and that vulnerable clients are identified and supported appropriately.
• Maintaining a current statement of professional standing (SPS) and relevant CPD records.
• Liaising with admin support, Paraplanners, and other team members as appropriate.

About You

• Good understanding and awareness of relevant legislation affecting the industry.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• General IT skills and the ability to compile reports.

Qualification Requirements

The minimum level is "level 4" Diploma, with the aim of achieving Chartered status.
