Salary: Up to £80,000, depending on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Independent Financial Adviser to join a growing and well-established financial planning firm.

As part of an expanding advisory team, you will provide holistic financial planning advice to a diverse client base, helping individuals and businesses achieve their long-term financial goals. You'll be supported by an experienced team of Paraplanners, Business Managers and dedicated support staff, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional client outcomes and growing your client portfolio.

This role is ideal for a technically strong adviser who enjoys building long-term client relationships, developing professional introducer networks, and delivering tailored financial planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of clients' financial circumstances, objectives and existing arrangements.
• Provide holistic financial planning advice across pensions, investments, protection, inheritance tax and retirement planning.
• Work closely with the Paraplanning team to develop tailored financial planning recommendations.
• Complete client risk assessments and suitability reviews.
• Research financial products and investment solutions to meet clients' individual needs.
• Present recommendations and guide clients through informed financial decisions.
• Monitor and review clients' financial plans to ensure ongoing suitability.
• Keep up to date with changes in legislation, regulation and financial products.
• Liaise with internal support teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Maintain accurate and compliant client records in line with FCA requirements.
• Build and develop long-term client relationships through referrals, networking and business development.
• Promote the firm's financial planning proposition to prospective clients.
• Ensure all advice and client interactions are delivered in accordance with regulatory and compliance standards.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:

• Previous experience as an Independent Financial Adviser or Financial Planner.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum).
• A current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS).
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection and tax-efficient planning.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• A proactive approach to business development and growing your client portfolio.
