Branch Manager - Chipping Norton

Sensory Audiology & Optical Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a long standing family run hearing and eye care company with a focus on customer care and excellent eyecare service.

Their business has grown and now has c170 stores across England and are continuing to expand. My client's aim is to provide all patients with exceptional patient hearing and optical care.

As a Branch Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of your branch while leading a dedicated team in providing expert eye and hearing care. You will inspire and support your team to deliver exceptional service, drive business growth, and maintain high professional standards in a customer-focused environment.

What we are looking for

We are seeking an experienced retail manager, ideally with a background in optics, audiology, or healthcare. You should possess strong leadership and people management skills, combined with a customer-first mindset and excellent communication abilities.

Commercial awareness is essential, along with a proactive, hands-on approach to solving problems and developing your team. Basic I.T. skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems are also required.

You will be responsible for

  • Conducting comprehensive hearing assessments and evaluations for patients.
  • Determining the extent and nature of hearing loss using various diagnostic tests and equipment.
  • Recommending and fitting appropriate hearing aids and assistive listening devices to patients.
  • Providing counselling and education to patients on the proper use and care of hearing aids.
  • Monitoring patients' progress and making adjustments or modifications to hearing aids as needed.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with hearing disorders.
  • Staying updated on the latest advancements in audiology and hearing aid technology.
