My client is currently looking for an optometrist to join them in their Dyce practice on a full time basis.

If you are looking for an opportunity to progress your Optometry career and have real ownership over how you practice Optometry, then this could be a great opportunity for you. You will be highly organised with an aptitude for balancing both the clinical and commercial aspects of the Optometrist's role in practice and also be keen to work with the Practice Managers and Practice Team to grow and build on the practice's existing success.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive sight tests and eye exams

Provide a range of clinical services including emergency eye care, paediatric care, and myopia management

Tailor recommendations to address each patient's needs and preferences

Maintain high standards of professionalism, including adherence to GOC standards

Collaborate with the team to achieve shared goals and monitor performance

Ensure all clinical equipment is maintained and in good working order

Working Environment

  • Part of a wider network of 42 practices and ~350 staff
  • Strong collaboration between optical and audiology teams

Candidate Requirements

  • GOC registered
  • BSc optometry
  • Willingness to travel between clinic locations
