Hours: 37 hr week Mon to Fri, office-based

From the first design to the final customer sign-off, this Engineering Project Manager role offers the chance to see engineering ideas become working systems.

Our client is looking for a technically minded Engineering Project Manager to join its close-knit engineering team in Sittingbourne. Combining mechanical design with project delivery, the role offers hands-on involvement at every stage, with direct customer contact and SolidWorks training where required.

The Role

• Take engineering projects from concept through to qualification testing and customer acceptance.
• Design, analyse, test and document complete container systems.
• Apply stress analysis and mechanics of materials to solve practical design
• challenges.
• Develop designs using CAD software.
• Work closely with customers and colleagues to keep projects moving.

Skills and Experience

• Higher education qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Sound knowledge of stress analysis and mechanics of materials.
• CAD software experience; SolidWorks training is available.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Clear communication and a practical approach to problem-solving.
