Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser
Overview
We are seeking a qualified and patient-focused Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser to join a well-established, multi-site clinical team. This is a primarily clinic-based role offering the opportunity to deliver high-quality audiological care within a supportive and collaborative environment.
You will take full ownership of the patient journey, from initial assessment through to fitting and long-term aftercare, working closely with optical colleagues and front-of-house teams to deliver a seamless patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Journey • Patients typically enter via an optical screening/referral pathway • Full ownership of care from: • Assessment (60 mins) • Health checks (30 mins) • Fittings (60 mins) • Follow-ups (40 mins) • Supported by an internal marketing function and strong patient flow
Service Offering • Hearing assessments & screening • Microsuction wax removal (gold standard) • Hearing aid consultation & fitting • Ongoing aftercare and servicing • Up to 5-year warranties and 60-day guarantee
Hearsmart Appointment • Combined ear health check and wax removal • HD visualisation for patient education • Optional hearing screening
Pricing Structure: • £70 (both ears) • £50 (one ear) • £25 consultation (if no wax present)

Price Bands: • Bronze: £1,495+ • Silver: £2,795+ • Gold: £3,195+ • Platinum: £3,695+
Working Environment • Clinic-based role across key locations (including Nairn, Inverness, and Keith) • Part of a wider network of 42 practices and ~350 staff • Strong collaboration between optical and audiology teams • Optical teams assist with screening and minor repairs • Front-of-house manages ~80% of administrative workload

Candidate Requirements • RHAD qualification or BSc in Audiology • Open to both NHS and private sector backgrounds • Newly qualified candidates welcome • Full UK driving licence • Willingness to travel between clinic locations

Salary & Benefits
Compensation • Competitive base salary (circa £35,000, dependent on experience) • £5,000 car allowance • Uncapped commission (OTE £85,000 - £100,000+)
