£16.50 - £19.00 p/h 40 hr week Overtime

A specialist manufacturing company in Canterbury is expanding its production team and is seeking Experienced Bench Joiners to support a growing pipeline of bespoke, high quality joinery projects. This role is ideal for skilled craftspeople who take pride in precision, enjoy working with purpose made joinery, and want to be part of a modern, well equipped workshop environment.

About the Role

As an Experienced Bench Joiner, you’ll work on a wide range of bespoke joinery projects, producing high quality items using both traditional craftsmanship and modern manufacturing techniques. You’ll be part of a supportive workshop team delivering premium joinery for commercial and residential clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bespoke joinery production - Manufacture purpose made joinery to a high standard.
  • Technical drawing interpretation - Work confidently from detailed drawings and assist with setting out.
  • Precision craftsmanship - Maintain exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Workshop teamwork - Collaborate with a skilled team to deliver consistent, high quality results.
  • Project contribution - Support the delivery of durable, visually impressive joinery products.

Skills & Experience Needed

  • Strong experience in purpose made joinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
  • High level of craftsmanship and pride in producing quality work.
  • Good time management and problem solving skills.
  • Team focused attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Wood machining experience (advantageous).
  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications preferred.

Location

Workshop based role in the Canterbury Area, easily commutable from Canterbury, Sandwich, Deal, Dover, Thanet and surrounding areas. Own transport would be an advantage due to location
