Class 1 Driver (Floater Shifts)

GR Employment Ltd is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver on behalf of one of our customers, DHL Express in Slough, Colnbrook.

Shift Pattern

• Floater Shifts (Flexible Start Windows)
• Early Floater (Monday to Friday): Start times between 13:00-17:00
• Late Floater (Monday to Friday): Start times between 18:00-22:00
• 1-hour unpaid break

Pay

• £19.63 per hour
• £2.80 per hour shift premium
• £1.22 per hour Saturday premium
• £2.27 per hour Sunday premium
• Overtime paid after 45 hours

The Role

• Multi-drop deliveries and collections across the Slough/Colnbrook area
• Loading and unloading of parcels/freight as required
• Completing delivery paperwork and using a handheld scanner
• Working to strict delivery schedules while maintaining excellent customer service

What You'll Need

• Full UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
• No more than 6 penalty points, with no DR/IN/CD convictions
• At least 12 months' UK Class 1 driving experience
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Willingness to undergo a basic DBS/security check

As this role is based at an airport-adjacent site, all applicants must be able to pass a 5-year referencing and aviation security screening check prior to starting.
