CMM Quality Inspector

About the Role

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector, CMM Dimensional Inspector or Engineering Inspector to join a leading aerospace manufacturing business in South Leicester, manufacturing precision components for the aerospace and industrial gas turbine industries.

Responsibilities

• First-off inspection of machined components
• Dimensional inspection to tight tolerances, using conventional and CMM equipment
• In-process, sample and receipt inspection of components returning from subcontractors
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and method specifications
• Identifying non-conformances and completing relevant documentation
• Airflow inspection where required

About You

• Previous experience within quality, CMM, dimensional or engineering inspection
• Good understanding of engineering drawings
• Experience using CMM machines and conventional inspection equipment
• Previous experience within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
• SAP experience advantageous but not essential

Hours

37 hours per week, rotating 3-shift pattern (morning, afternoon, night), Monday to Friday.
