We are looking for an organised, proactive individual with a strong attention to detail to join our Tenant and Leaseholder Compliance Team as a Compliance Officer. 

This is an exciting opportunity to help ensure the health and safety of our residents is kept at the forefront of what we do by fulfilling our compliance obligations across the various compliance streams, including gas safety, electrical safety, fire safety, asbestos, lifts, water and more. 

It is a varied role and involves working closely with contractors, building good working relationships with our residents, leaseholders and colleagues. 

You must be organised and able to prioritise your workload, ensuring that compliance is maintained and any services/actions are completed within timescales on your assigned compliance streams. 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a good communicator, comfortable with visiting people in their homes
  • Has a keen eye for detail, able to spot any errors or actions in compliance certificates as well as contributing to monthly KPI reports
  • Is able to prioritise workload and is tenacious in ensuring services and actions are completed within agreed timescales
  • Is a great team player who is happy to work on their own initiative but also assist across other areas of compliance when required
  • Has great negotiation skills and the ability to build rapports quickly
  • Has good time management, balancing time on visits with administrative tasks
  • Has the ability to produce written reports with strong administrative skills, uploading certificates to our Compliance software, recording no accesses, updating trackers and producing no access reports to our legal team where required. Ensuring the golden thread of compliance is maintained.
  • Experience of Landlord Compliance and Social Housing would be advantageous, along with any housing based Compliance Qualifications.
