I am working in partnership with a leading retail opticians and audiology business, founded in 1928. My client is an independent, family-owned and family run company who believe our people are the key to success and longevity.
The company has grown to have 35 stores, all special and unique - 25 fully owned, 7 franchised, 2 co-owned and 1 business operating under its own name.
I am searching for a qualified Dispensing Optician to join a vibrant team within the Putney practice - this is a full time position. WEEK 1 - Monday - Friday, WEEK 2 - Tuesday - Saturday
The role...
Dispensing Opticians are an integral part of each of branch, ensuring that each store has adequate and correct stock whilst liaising with each customer on a one to one basis regarding their latest prescription. Core tasks of this role will include;

This is an ideal position for a fully qualified Dispensing Optician with strong communication skills, searching for a brand that values quality over quantity. Complete customer satisfaction is our aim, meaning our DO's need to be engaging, motivated and able to work with customers on a consultative basis.
Benefits
You will be resposnible for: • Dispensing eyewear to patients, providing expert advice and guidance on optical products. • Conducting comprehensive eye tests and assessments to determine patients' visual needs. • Assisting patients in selecting appropriate frames, lenses, and other optical products. • Taking accurate measurements and ensuring proper fittings for eyewear. • Carrying out adjustments and repairs on eyeglasses. • Offering advice and recommendations on contact lenses and other visual aids. • Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or queries. • Ensure that stock is maintained and accurate against purchase orders • Assist the Branch Manager in tracking and monitoring branch performance • Work with customers on a consultative basis regarding the available stock • Ensure all reminders are followed up, ensuring all parties are kept up to date
Essential Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Optometry or related field.
