Westin Par is recruiting for a UK & European Operations Coordinator on behalf of a
successful international logistics business based in Redditch.
This is a varied role combining European freight forwarding, UK transport operations and
warehouse coordination. The position is ideally suited to someone with freight
forwarding or European road transport experience, although candidates with UK
transport and logistics experience who are keen to develop within international freight
will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinating European and UK road freight movements
• Managing shipments from booking through to completion
• Processing transport documentation and customs paperwork where required
• Liaising with customers regarding quotations, bookings and shipment updates
• Negotiating rates and coordinating services with transport suppliers
• Supporting warehouse operations including goods in, goods out and stock
control
• Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles when required
• Raising invoices and maintaining accurate operational records
• Supporting the sales team with quotations and customer enquiries
• Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for additional
business

Skills & Experience Required
• Experience within freight forwarding, European transport, road freight, logistics
or transport operations
• Candidates with UK transport experience and the ambition to develop European 
freight knowledge are encouraged to apply

• Warehousing and distribution experience would be advantageous
• Counterbalance Forklift Licence preferred, although training can be provided
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Proactive and solutions-focused approach
