About the Role
The Right Ethos is seeking a strategic leader to shape communications and external affairs for Felix, the UK's leading food rescue network. This role will guide the narrative following the merger of FareShare and The Felix Project, ensuring a unified voice across media, stakeholders, and public engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead media relations, internal communications, and public affairs for Felix, a network supporting 1.5 million people through food redistribution.
- Develop and execute communication strategies to position Felix as a key partner in tripling UK food redistribution.
- Provide senior counsel to the CEO, Executive Team, and trustees on reputation management and sector conversations.
- Manage a team of seven to ensure consistent, trusted messaging during organisational integration and growth.
- Coordinate parliamentary engagement and stakeholder relationships to advance Felix's mission.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven leadership in communications, with experience in media relations, public affairs, and internal communications.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of building reputation in complex, high-profile sectors.
- Ability to navigate organisational change and support integration following a merger.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including parliamentary and media relations.
- Experience working with charities, volunteers, and cross-sector partners.
