HSE Administrator

A growing organisation is seeking a motivated HSE Administrator to provide support to the HSE Manager and contribute to safe and effective operations. This role is ideal for someone with experience in health and safety or compliance who is looking to develop their skills and progress their career in a dynamic operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide structured administrative support to the HSE Manager
• Maintain and develop HSE records, databases, and document control systems
• Assist with risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work
• Support incident, accident, and near-miss reporting, including trend analysis
• Prepare HSE reports, statistics, and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint
• Track training, medicals, certifications, and competence records
• Support internal audits, inspections, and safety reviews
• Liaise with operational teams, crews, and external stakeholders
• Assist with updates to safety manuals, procedures, and documentation

Candidate Profile

Required: Experience in a health and safety or compliance-based role, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, high attention to detail and strong organisational skills, confident communicator both written and verbal, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a busy operational environment, proactive and willing to take on increasing responsibility, full, valid UK driving licence.

Desirable: NEBOSH, IOSH Managing Safely, or equivalent health and safety qualification, knowledge of maritime, marine, or offshore operations, experience supporting operational teams in safety management.
