Optometrist - Portree, Isle of Skye

My client is currently looking for an optometrist to join their team in Portree, on the beautiful Isle of Skye.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive sight tests and eye exams
  • Provide a range of clinical services including emergency eye care, paediatric care, and myopia management
  • Tailor recommendations to address each patient’s needs and preferences
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, including adherence to GOC standards
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve shared goals and monitor performance
  • Ensure all clinical equipment is maintained and in good working order

Working Environment

  • Part of a wider network of 42 practices and ~350 staff
  • Strong collaboration between optical and audiology teams

Candidate Requirements

  • GOC registered
  • BSc Optometry
  • Willingness to travel between clinic locations
