Paraplanner - Edinburgh

About the role

An established and successful Wealth Management business is looking to expand its Paraplanning team and is seeking a fully qualified and experienced Paraplanner to join the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Paraplanner to join a professional and growing team, providing high-quality support to Financial Advisers and helping to ensure clients receive a first-class service.

Key responsibilities

• Complete full analysis of client requirements and prepare accurate, high-quality suitability reports
• Produce cash flow models and ensure all client data is accurate and up to date
• Maintain consistently high standards of documentation and report writing
• Ensure all client business is processed compliantly and within agreed timescales
• Provide comprehensive paraplanning and technical support to Financial Advisers, the administration team and Practice Manager
• Assist Advisers with technical queries and complex client cases
• Liaise with product providers to obtain replacement contract information and other relevant documentation

About you

• Proven experience working as a Paraplanner within financial planning or wealth management
• CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent qualification
• Excellent report-writing skills with the ability to produce clear, accurate and client-focused documentation
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively
• Strong numerical ability and confidence working with financial data and performance information
