Paraplanner - Liverpool

Location: Liverpool (hybrid working)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a well-established and growing financial planning firm. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work closely with Financial Planners, supporting the delivery of high-quality, compliant financial advice while contributing to a collaborative and client-focused team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed client reports, conducting research, and assisting in the development of comprehensive financial plans. This role is ideal for a proactive and analytical individual looking to further their career within financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed client reports and suitability letters.
  • Draft recommendations in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Analyse client information to support the financial planning process.
  • Conduct research on financial products, investments, and planning solutions.
  • Assist Financial Planners in developing tailored financial strategies.
  • Maintain accurate client records and update internal systems.
  • Liaise with advisers, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure an efficient client journey.
  • Support ongoing process improvements and contribute to delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience as a Paraplanner within a Financial Planning or Wealth Management environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Planning and Personal Finance.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret client information and assess suitable financial solutions.
  • A good understanding of investments and financial products.
  • Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
  • Relevant financial planning qualifications (or working towards them), such as the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, would be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Experience using financial planning software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to work independently when required.
