Summary

Working for a family run business. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-growing organisation, working within a friendly, supportive team.

You will coordinate the day-to-day purchasing and stock replenishment, so the right stock arrives on time without tying up cash. You are the go-to person for stock, ETA and availability questions from the sales team.

The company is in a very lovely rural setting therefore, candidates must be able to drive.

Key duties & responsibilities

  • Daily ordering: run the daily ordering routine in Slimstock and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Review and approve stock replenishment proposals, specials, non-stock items and demand spikes in one daily pass.

  • New product enquiries: find suppliers and pricing for customer requests. Pass recurring or high-volume lines to the Strategic Procurement & Supplier Performance Manager for tender.
  • People: line-manage, coach and set daily priorities for the offshore Purchasing & Supply Chain Administrator.
  • Reporting: produce weekly stock-out, overdue-PO and stock-holding reports, and present at the monthly stock and supply review.
