Senex Recruitment is supporting a manufacturing organisation seeking a Quality Control & Administration Technician to support quality assurance activities, laboratory testing, documentation control, and continuous improvement processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Quality control testing - carry out testing on raw materials, work-in-progress products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Laboratory activities - use laboratory and testing equipment to analyse material properties and verify product performance.
- Quality records and data management - record, maintain, and archive quality test results, observations, and supporting documentation.
- Documentation control - maintain quality documentation, safety information, and technical records within company systems.
- Sample management - store, organise, and retain material samples for traceability and future testing requirements.
- Calibration and laboratory support - assist with calibration checks, laboratory housekeeping, and maintaining an organised working environment.
- Customer and technical support - support investigations into product-related enquiries and provide technical information where required.
- Continuous improvement - contribute to quality improvements, laboratory procedures, and ongoing compliance initiatives.
- Health, safety and environmental compliance - support quality, environmental, and health & safety objectives across the business.
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum of A-level standard education in a science-related subject.
- Previous experience in quality control, laboratory testing, manufacturing, or a technical environment.
- Good organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and testing methods.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with different departments.
- IT skills including Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive and methodical approach to problem solving.
Desirable: experience within manufacturing, construction materials, coatings, chemicals, or related industries; knowledge of quality management systems; experience working in a laboratory environment; familiarity with documentation control processes; understanding of COSHH or compliance documentation.
