About the Role
The Right Ethos is seeking a Research and Policy Lead to join its team in Brixton, London. This hybrid role supports UNJUST, a values-led organisation dedicated to tackling systemic racism within the criminal legal system. The position involves developing research and policy strategies that centre lived experience and community voices to drive transformative change.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead research projects examining systemic racism in the criminal legal system.
- Develop policy advocacy strategies to influence local and national decision-makers.
- Collaborate with community partners and sector stakeholders to shape policy change.
- Produce evidence-based reports and recommendations for public and policy audiences.
- Support UNJUST's community-based programmes and strategic campaigns.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in research and policy development within social justice or criminal justice contexts.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and produce actionable insights.
- Ability to build relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
