Seating Specialist - North East

The Opportunity

Trusted Recruiter is partnering with a leading manufacturer of specialist wheelchair seating and postural management solutions to recruit an NHS Seating Specialist for their North East England territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist Custom Seating Clinics across NHS Wheelchair Services.
• Conduct comprehensive postural seating assessments and recommend bespoke seating solutions.
• Complete clinical prescriptions and support equipment handovers.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Rehabilitation Engineers.
• Provide clinical education and product training to NHS teams.
• Manage territory planning, clinic schedules and relationship development.
• Represent the business at industry events and customer meetings.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience as an NHS Seating Specialist, Rehabilitation Engineer, Clinical Scientist, Occupational Therapist, Wheelchair Therapist, Physiotherapist, Clinical Product Specialist or Seating & Postural Specialist.
• Proven experience in complex seating assessments, postural management and NHS Wheelchair Services.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary clinical teams and deliver clinical training.
• Strong communication skills and territory management experience.
• Previous experience in medical devices, rehabilitation or mobility equipment is advantageous.

This role covers North East England, including Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, County Durham, Teesside, North Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
