Social Media Manager

About the Role

Art Fund is the national fundraising charity for art, supporting over 1,000 museums and galleries across the UK. We work with 142,000 members and a network of cultural institutions to champion inclusive, welcoming spaces for communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies to promote Art Fund's mission, membership products like the National Art Pass, and high-profile events such as Museum of the Year
• Create engaging video and image content showcasing museums and galleries, directly supporting fundraising and membership growth
• Lead storytelling around charitable purpose, including fundraising campaigns and funding programmes
• Collaborate with internal teams to align social content with Art Fund's diversity, inclusion and sustainability goals

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in social media management within a cultural or charitable sector
• Strong content creation skills, particularly for video and visual storytelling
• Ability to connect social media activity with broader organisational goals and membership growth
• Understanding of the UK museum and gallery sector and its evolving needs
• Commitment to diversity, inclusion and sustainability in all communications
