Systems Administrator

Location: Hythe, Kent
Salary: Negotiable
Hours: 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday, and Friday 08:00 to 13:00 – 39 hours per week
Contract: Permanent, Full-time

PSM Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a successful manufacturing business in Hythe, Kent, for a Systems Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys improving processes, maintaining management systems and working across multiple departments to ensure compliance, quality and continuous improvement.

Working closely with the Commercial Director and senior management team, you'll play a key role in maintaining the company's Integrated Management System (IMS), supporting internal and external audits, monitoring compliance and helping drive business improvements.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintaining and developing the Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Coordinating and supporting internal and external ISO audits.
  • Managing company documentation and document control.
  • Producing reports and management information.
  • Monitoring compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards.
  • Assisting with Health & Safety and Environmental Management activities.
  • Carrying out risk assessments, COSHH and DSE assessments.
  • Supporting supplier approval processes and customer audits.
  • Monitoring legislation and advising management of changes.
  • Investigating non-conformances and supporting corrective actions.
  • Developing training documentation and maintaining compliance records.

We're looking for someone who has

  • Experience working with Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and IT skills.
  • Experience coordinating audits and compliance activities.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • The ability to analyse information and produce accurate reports.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to work across all levels of the business.

It would also be advantageous if you have internal or supplier audit experience, NEBOSH or Health & Safety qualifications, knowledge of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG), or experience within manufacturing or engineering.
