Systems Safety Engineer - Rail Sector

About the Role

Jump IT is recruiting a Systems Safety Engineer for a rail sector client, focused on Safety Assurance. This is a permanent, full-time role based in SE England with UK home-working.

This is a very specific role focused on Safety Assurance within the rail sector, working within an established and settled team with strong expertise in the sector.

What We're Looking For

• Broad rail industry experience across Health and Safety, the Common Safety Method (CSM/CSM-RA, EN50126) and Railway Interoperability Regulations
• Broader skills around project management/delivery, engagement, reporting and compliance
• Experience with risk assessments, HAZOP/HAZID and related safety assurance activity
• UK-based, with an SE England office location
• Relevant professional bodies such as IOSH, IRSE, ICE, IET or APS are relevant
