Territory Product Specialist - Home based - Wales & South West

Trusted Recruiter is proud to be recruiting on behalf of an established and growing UK manufacturer and international supplier of specialist healthcare, sensory and bespoke bed solutions that transform the lives of children and adults with complex needs. For over 25 years, our client has built an outstanding reputation for designing and manufacturing innovative products supporting Occupational Therapists, Local Authorities, schools and healthcare providers throughout the UK and internationally. This is a newly created position forming part of an exciting commercial growth strategy.

The Opportunity

This hybrid role combines Product Specialist, Account Management and Business Development. You will typically spend around three days working remotely managing enquiries, quotations, virtual assessments and customer relationships, with up to two days visiting customers, delivering CPD sessions, product demonstrations and developing your territory.

About the Products

The business designs and manufactures bespoke specialist healthcare, sensory and bed solutions, predominantly supporting children with complex needs. Full technical training will be provided, including time spent within manufacturing to understand how each product is designed and built.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with Occupational Therapists, NHS Trusts, Local Authorities, schools, charities and healthcare providers.
• Deliver CPD sessions, Lunch & Learn events and educational product demonstrations.
• Become the recognised product expert within your territory.
• Manage enquiries, quotations and your own sales pipeline from enquiry through to order.
• Support virtual design meetings and specification of bespoke products.
• Develop strategic accounts and identify sustainable growth opportunities.
• Represent the business at exhibitions, networking events and professional meetings.
• Work collaboratively with Marketing, Customer Support, Manufacturing and Product Development.

About You

Experience working alongside Occupational Therapists or knowledge of the Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) process would be advantageous but is not essential.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong relationship-building and networking ability.
• Commercial awareness with a consultative approach.
• Ability to manage your own diary and territory.
• Full UK driving licence.
